Week four lesson:
As our first module is street photography we are well aware that we will be out shooting complete strangers and this could plunge us into very hostile situations. Jill brought in people from the local police to talk to us about our rights as photographers.
They made us understand that we are perfectly within our legal rights whilst taking photographs on public ground whether people were in the shot or not.
This was interesting to know and also very reassuring as i did have some nerves about the public approaching me about taking photos of them but with this information i feel way more confident about my rights as a photographer.
